Literary Imagery (2009-15)

When text from the book Literary Imagery is launched in an internet browser an image will appear. Yet, what is seen is not actually a picture... It is text communicating to a browser where to place 1x1 cells within a table, and what background color to assign to each cell. So, the picture is not actually a picture (until a picture is taken of it). I own the copyright to these literary works. The main theme here is appropriation (appropriation involves borrowing, copying, or recontextualizing existing imagery or objects to produce a new work of art).
